Pyramid Companies Announce St. Louis Centre Plans

As the director of marketing for The Pyramid Companies, I was responsible for leading all marketing and public relations efforts of the then-largest developer in the metro region.  There was national as well as local attention when we announced plans to recreate the area surrounding the former St. Louis Centre shopping mall in downtown St. Louis.

PR Work Sample: Pudd’nhead Books

As the daughter of an English teacher, books have always been an important part of my life.  When a new independent store opened up in Webster Groves, I knew I wanted to help them find success.

Pudd’nhead Books is owned by Nikki Furrer, and she absolutely knows her stuff.  She’s one of the funniest, coolest, smartest people you’ll ever meet.  I’ve helped her publicize events and, most recently, put together a press kit for her annual trip to schmooze with New York’s publishing community.

PR Work Sample: Holiday Campaign for Old Orchard Merchant’s Association

Old Orchard Merchant District

I’ve worked with the Old Orchard Merchant Association’s on promoting several of their events, but the holiday season has to be my favorite.  We had an enormous mailbox built to collect Letters to Santa – dropping the annual wish list has become a treaured tradition for many local families. One year we had the good fortune to plan our holiday push at the same time that the ScholarShop, a neighbor, was set to hold a one-time-only sale of vintage dresses.  It created a real win-win: the neighborhood was able to capitalize on the draw of the sale and the ScholarShop benefited from the efforts of the merchant’s forward-thinking PR push.
